Preparing for PAX...

First of many cellphone salutations, buddy, The Beard is headed to Seattle! Land of "PAX" and "not paying for WiFi while I travel"! Look here for every ounce of achievement info I can squeeze out of anybody involved with upcoming games, and keep an eye on Beyond the Beard over at Tumblr.com for many more updates on absolutely anything else. Twitter will also be something of a grab-bag compared to the usual achievement-centric stuff, and each tweet will be fancifully geo-tagged for your geo-pleasure, in case you want to come say "hi" or point and laugh!

UPDATE: 9/9/2010 - Well, the achievement info wasn't exactly forthcoming over the weekend, but we did get a quick surprise or two from Rock Band 3's achievements... all 1250 points (more on that - NOW!). However, there was no shortage of non-achievement info, which I regularly relegate to your other favorite Beard Blog, of course, so be sure and check there for a video, screenshots, and some great object lessons on why typing things at 1 AM is generally a bad idea.
